4th & last stop...blood bank...quite a no. of courageous souls generously gave "the gift of life"...i was quite inspired myself...i think im actually gonna brave e needles (u gt pricked a few times, blood screening, local anaesthesia, & of coz e thick transfusion needle) once i get off my meds. each time, they'll take around 450ml (for those above 50kg, which obviously i AM) & every unit of blood can save up to 3 lives. singapore is one of e v few countries tt actually give anaesthesia to their doners (we're all damn hum chih, i add to tt statistic) & one of the 50 countries in the world tt practises 100% voluntary, non-remuneratory blood donation. i din mean to rem such random facts, i juz did. i excel in storing useless information akin to such. my pt is...GIVE BLOOD yeah?

how it happened (the successful attempt). suntec fountain of wealth. bon jovi 'i'll be there for you' playing in the background with message "marriage ends the life long search for the partner of my soul. will you be the partner of my soul? will you marry me xy?" lasered across the fountain. inside the 'luv box', sweet to death luv note & 20 little pressies for the 20 yrs it took him to find me (& the 20 bdays he missed) 1)milk bottle filled with fav mint 2)pink stuffed piggy 3)box of color pencils 4)mickey shower cap 5)fav snack in pretty container 6)story book by my fav author (and prob one of the v few i din read) 7)hello kitty pen(PINK) 8)diary 9)box of lil hearts painstakingly drawn & cut 10)bottle of lovely scrolls (to scribble silly lovey dovey msgs to each other 11)1st flower to me when he was gg after me 12)PINK baby G 13)self made hp accessory (PINK) 14)photo album w our pics 15)flower earrings w diamante (PINK) 16)diamond bracelet 17)cute CD (the cover) of luv songs 18)ivory heart shaped jewellery box 19)shoe shaped ring holder 20)my VW beetle! plus the box was littered with ticket stubs from all our movie sessions the past few dating years...jr yan collected all of em...with the aid of the perfect ring...he earned his "YES"
dinner @ keppel marina...luv e quaintness of the place...wishing & hoping crowds wun flock here...wanted to walk along the bridge but decided we were too lazy...nxt time we shall park around harbourfront area & force ourselves to walk...
Mt faber 'sky dining' by the jewel box...it was quite an experience...food really wasnt fantastic but svs was excellent & e view was breathtaking~
mid autumn celebrations with jr yan @ marsling park...it seems e 'lantern carrying' & 'shang yue' tradition is dying...slowly but surely...hence e conscious effort~
been shopping around for stuff we could use to do up the place...e hotel will be providing the centerpiece (flora arrangement) for the solemnization table, the organza for the chairs, reception table, guest book, & also rose petals...we've also signed up for a wedding package with Bliss bridal creations @ marina square...haven gone done to choose my ROM dress yet...but im nt exactly looking @ anything longer than knee length...nth too OTT (im sure e other xy wun believe this)...sth light colored...& prob sth tt'll go w bling bling gold shoes? i've a theme to work with!
the theme for our ROM...ORIENTAL ROMANCE...main colors used for deco will be gold & red as is obvious...am getting the ang bao box customised (change the flowers on top to sth deep red roses) and also changing the wrist ribbon for the corsages (for my gers) to gold...
